We love to incorporate grasses in the landscape but over time they can become overgrown and less attractive. Spring is a great time to dig them up and divide. Grasses can grow fast. Determine whether or not it's time to make room for other plants
Use an ax, hatchet, or shovel to assist you in dividing
Plant one of the divisions back in the original spot and use the remaining divisions to fill other garden spaces around your property.
