In the wake of Hurricane Irene, The Garden Continuum has been cleaning up tons of tree damage. While Irene did destroy many shrubs and trees, she also left us with the wounded. This week, TGC shows you how to straighten trees that have been blown over by strong winds.

We use the Deere to help reposition the tree

Once in place, we use duckbills or earth anchors to secure the tree in place

Once straight, we can set the anchors and attach the arbor tie
