Monique Allen is the President and CEO of The Garden Continuum. She is a Certified Landscape Designer, a Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional and an Accredited Organic Land Care Provider.
A graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Entrepreneurship, Monique began in the Green Industry as a freelance gardener in 1986. She studied at The Arnold Arboretum, in Jamaica Plain, MA and at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, in Boston, MA. She went on to complete Graduate Design Studies at Radcliffe Seminars at Harvard, (now The Landscape Institute).
Monique serves as President on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Association of Landscape Professionals and is a Certified Massachusetts Conservation Commissioner for the town of Franklin. She is also a freelance writer and educator, publishing and speaking to educate members of various homeowner and professional organizations.
Monique is an avid collector of perennials and groundcovers, which has helped to transform her own property in Franklin, Mass., into company show gardens that have been featured in This Old House Magazine and on the Medfield Cable TV show Gardens Matter.
